The folks at Sun [Regensburg] have just announced the release of the latest version of GridEngine, the popular batch scheduling system. Version 6.2u1 is ready for download via source or courtesy binary. As this is only labeled as a “maintenance release”, there aren’t too many new features, just bug fixes in the software, install procedure and man pages. Also released are new versions of Project Hedeby and ARCo, the SGE accounting package.
