NASA Ames Director Named Best of 2009

The Director of the NASA Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California has been named the 2009 Federal Laboratory Consortium Laboratory Director of the Year.  During Worden’s tenure, NASA Ames stood out from the crowd with such achievements as:

.: Ames received NASA 2007 Software of the Year award

.: 2008 NASA Government Invention of the Year award

.: establishment of a small spacecraft division

.: Pleiades supercomputer project

.: Hyperwall-2 visualization/supercomputing project
