X-ISS to Bring ManagedHPC to Europe

xissToday eXcellence in IS Solutions (X-ISS) announced plans for European expansion. With details to be unveiled at the SC15, X-ISS will expand its signature ManagedHPC service into the European market. Also at the show, X-ISS will demonstrate new capabilities of its DecisionHPC business analytics software and provide insights into its recently announced CloudHPC consulting service.

X-ISS has spent much of 2015 developing new services and enhancing our existing offerings to meet the evolving needs of the worldwide HPC industry,” said X-ISS President and Founder Deepak Khosla. “SC15 promises to be our busiest conference ever.”

X-ISS will officially unveil the new and improved product offerings in booth 162 at SC15, an international conference and exhibition of the HPC community, held November 15th -20th in Austin, Texas. Visitors to the X-ISS booth at SC15 will have the opportunity to participate in a three-minute technology survey and be entered for a chance to win a Camera-Equipped Quadcopter or an Amazon Echo.

ManagedHPC is a remote cluster administration and monitoring service that has maximized HPC performance for engineering, oil & gas, health science and governmental organizations in the U.S. for more than 15 years. In response to international requests, X-ISS will now offer the service to European organizations with live personnel support during regular business hours across the continent.

Designed specifically for small- and medium-sized clusters for enterprises that lack the internal resources or expertise to manage HPC environments, the ManagedHPC service provides daily remote monitoring of the systems, keeping them running at their peak efficiency. ManagedHPC services are also retained by large organizations with clusters located at multiple facilities.

ManagedHPC positively impacts cluster ROI by spotting problems before they become critical and reducing system downtime,” said Khosla.

X-ISS personnel will also be on hand at SC15 to discuss the new CloudHPC consulting service announced over the summer. CloudHPC guides organizations through the complicated process of deciding if and how to move their HPC systems into the cloud environment. Assuming the cloud is right for a particular client, X-ISS then assists with migrating and deploying their clusters in the cloud-based configuration that best meets the organization’s needs.

“Our expert staff will determine if the cloud is right for you and then make it work,” said Khosla.

Booth 162 at SC15 will be a busy place. X-ISS will also be discussing the latest functionality in its DecisionHPC reporting and analytics SaaS package. Using a single dashboard to deliver business insights into cluster operations, the new DecisionHPC Version 15.1 offers greater client customization, improved usability and quicker access to key performance data.

DecisionHPC enables HPC owners to make smarter decisions regarding the operation and expansion of their clusters,” said Khosla.
