This week parallel programming platform developer Cilk Arts announced the release of 1.0 of their flagship product, Cilk++ for Windows and Linux
The Cilk++ programming platform reduces the challenge of multicore software programming. Cilk++ enables rapid development, testing and deployment of high-performance multicore applications. The solution consists of a simple set of extensions for the C++ programming language, a powerful runtime system and tools that ease the development of multicore software.
The product set includes and open source edition that is free for developers of open source projects (awesome). I know some of the Cilk Arts guys (ok, one guy), and I’m sure its been a long road: congratulations!
