ScaleMP Sustains 2.25 TB/sec Memory Bandwidth on STREAM Benchmark

Today ScaleMP announced three top results for the STREAM synthetic benchmark program, which measures sustainable memory bandwidth for HPC systems. The result achieved for STREAM’s Triad function was just over 2.25 TB/s using 64 systems, each equipped with two Intel Xeon X5650 running at 2.66 GHz and 96GB of RAM, aggregated into a single virtual shared-memory system to run the benchmark, receiving top 3 status for this benchmark.

vSMP Foundation aces yet another benchmarking milestone, after having achieved top ranking in SPEC CPU2006 just last month,” said Shai Fultheim, founder and CEO of ScaleMP. “These consistently superior results prove yet again the record-breaking performance vSMP Foundation offers its growing list of customers worldwide.”

The official results can be viewed on STREAM’s web site.
