This video summarizes the recent Summer of HPC training week in Barcelona. Summer of HPC is a PRACE program that offers summer placements at HPC centers across Europe to late stage undergraduates and early stage postgraduate students. Participants worked on projects related to PRACE scientific or industrial work and ideally produce a visualization or video of their results.
A total of 24 European undergraduates and early stage postgraduate students spent the last week of June in Barcelona receiving an intensive HPC course given by BSC researchers.
In related news, BSC with host the HPC Advisory Council Spain Conference on Sept. 22 in Barcelona. insideHPC will be on hand to record the presentations, though I doubt we’ll get to film much from the beach!
