ARM in Austin is seeking an HPC R&D Engineer in our Job of the Week.
We are seeking a highly motivated, graduate-level engineer to join ARM’s R&D team in Austin to work on cutting-edge research. This position will focus on enabling ARM to achieve a leadership role in the high-performance computing community. This will involve collaboration with external partners as well as with co-design centers based in U.S. national laboratories. The work will include characterizing and optimizing workloads, evaluating potential architectural and system design directions using full system simulation, and building out the software ecosystem of compilers, runtimes, and operating systems for the emerging ARM-based HPC system. The cross-functional nature of the position requires excellent software skills as well as deep understanding of modern computer architectures, microarchitectures, and large-scale system design challenges.
