iVEC in Australia has issued a Call for Proposals for its Petascale Pioneers Program.
The resources available during this period for petascale pioneering projects will be approximately 100 million core hours, and we invite applications that require several million core hours for grand-challenge problems as well as applications for smaller amounts of compute time that need access to the high-scalability of the system. Note that while the resources available during the early adopter period are substantial, the machine might be subject to short notice or multi-day outages for sessions such as configuration upgrades, machine testing periods, integration and testing with the Pawsey Centre infrastructure, benchmarking sessions and special usage modes.
The deadline for expressions of interest is June 27, 2014.
