R-Systems is seeking an HPC Systems Engineer in our Job of the Week.

Job Description:
- Administration of multiple Linux HPC clusters with a variety of configurations
- Develop and deploy improvements to the HPC solution based on user feedback • Provide technical support to any user issues related to HPC per agreed SLA’s
- Maintenance and support of hardware infrastructure
Qualifications:
- Excellent Linux systems administration and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in configuring, deploying and supporting HPC systems and schedulers (Slurm, LSF, PBS, etc.)
- Experience administering and tuning local, network, and scale out storage (NFS, GPFS, Lustre, ZFS, etc.)
- Experience with switched and routed local networks, WAN, VPN, Firewalls, etc.
- Experience with Infiniband networks, including tuning and diagnostics is a plus
- Advanced scripting or programming skills, desired but not required (C/C++, Python, Perl, UNIX shell)
- Ability to communicate effectively with users and business leaders
- Excellent customer service skills, good oral and written communication skills
