Gen-Z Consortium’s Activity Lineup at Upcoming Flash Memory Summit, SC20

The Gen-Z Consortium has announced it will participate in the upcoming Flash Memory Summit and SC20 conferences. Along with speaking engagements and panel participation, the interconnect consortium will showcase Gen-Z technology demos from member companies in GenZ’s virtual booths.

Flash Memory Summit, Nov. 10-12, will include online presentations along with a virtual exhibit hall featuring landing pages that will serve as digital exhibitor “booths.” Gen-Z’s participation includes a presentation session, “Gen-Z: An Ultra-High Speed Interface for System-to-System Communications,” by Kurtis Bowman of Dell EMC on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 2:15 p.m. PT.

Gen-Z will also be participating in a panel discussion with CXL Consortium members titled “Where the New High-Speed Interfaces Fit and How They Work Together.”  Visit the Flash Memory Summit website for additional details and to register.

At SC20, Nov. 16-19, Gen-Z will have a virtual booth and will participate in a panel discussion with the CXL Consortium. The panel — titled “Compute Express Link (CXL) and Gen-Z Protocols: Bridging the Resource Gap Between CPU, Memory and Accelerators” — will take place Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m. ET. For additional information and registration, visit the SC20 website.
