St. Paul, MN — May 2, 2022 – HPC industry analyst firm Hyperion Research, covering high performance computing, AI, cloud, quantum and associated emerging markets, is adding new analysts and announcing promotions among existing staff members.
New analyst:
- Jaclyn Ludema is the newest member of the Hyperion Research team. Jaclyn, an Analyst, will cover significant areas pertaining to the HPC market. She has experience as a Data Scientist serving government agencies (NOAA, HHS-CMS, and NASA). Her strengths are in data analysis, automating decision-support processes, applying weather and ocean models to forecasts systems, and helping teams solve big data storage and usage issues. She has a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and an MS from Johns Hopkins University.
Promotions:
- Alex Norton has been promoted to Research Director, with a focus on the company’s market research custom services. He will continue to manage data collection, lead the AI sector and co-lead cloud research.
- Mark Nossokoff has been promoted to Research Director, with a focus on the research agenda for the company’s subscription services. He will continue to lead the company’s worldwide coverage of storage technology and co-lead cloud research.
- Tom Sorensen has been promoted to Associate Analyst. Tom, who joined the Hyperion Research team in 2021, will support custom projects, write documents, and continue to provide research for the analytical team.
Expanded roles:
- Rene Copeland will continue to partner with Hyperion Research with an expanded role as Business Development Director.
- Melissa Riddle, Associate Analyst, has an expanded role focusing on custom data analysis, in addition to coverage on Applications.
- Bob Sorensen has an expanded role in tracking key emerging technologies and mentoring new analysts, in addition to his current role as Senior Vice President of Research and Chief Analyst for Quantum Computing.
