Scandiano, RE (Italy), October 12, 2023 – E4 Computer Engineering announced a partnership with NVIDIA for the Italian launch of NVIDIA Grace Hopper Superchip, the HBM3e processor for HPC and AI.
The new Grace Hopper platform was officially unveiled on October 9 and 10, in the presence of companies such as CERN, University of Pisa, and Dompé Farmaceutici.
During the unveiling of this GPU-CPU Superchip, E4 Computer Engineering announced its decision to establish a laboratory to support users, developers and ISVs in porting their applications to the NVIDIA Grace™ CPU Superchip and to NVIDIA’s Next-Generation GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip Platform. To this end, E4 Chiron Laboratory, will provide access to several NVIDIA Grace and Grace Hopper systems and to software experts to support application and workflow optimisation, with the goal of helping European users achieve maximum performance on NVIDIA Grace and Grace Hopper Superchip platforms.
E4 Chiron Laboratory will be based at E4 Computer Engineering’s headquarters in Scandiano, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna, Italy, and access to the data center will be available upon request through the E4 portal.
NVIDIA’s new Superchips were officially presented to the public on October 9 and 10, at Palazzo di Varignana (Bologna, Italy), during the “E4 EVOLUTION: enhance HPC and AI with NVIDIA Grace & Grace Hopper” event organised by E4 Computer Engineering with the support of NVIDIA.
During the two-day event, which was attended by more than 100 participants, exclusive content and real use cases were presented by leading international players in the world of research and IT, such as CERN, the University of Pisa and Dompé farmaceutici. Live demos of the Superchip were carried out and several networking moments were organised between the participants and guests from the most important international organisations in the sector.
