Intel Rolls Out Parallel Studio 2011

UPDATE: Dr. Dobbs has a great writeup on Array Building Blocks.

This week, Intel introduced Parallel Studio 2011, an update to their development tool suite for improving performance on multicore processors. This release adds Intel Parallel Building Blocks, a new set of parallel models that offer new ways to exploit parallelism. It also includes the Intel Parallel Advisor, a threading assistant designed to help developers transition code from serial to parallel.

A 30 day evaluation version of Intel Parallel Studio 2011 is available for download today.
