In this video, Eng Lim Goh demonstrates how the 256-socket SGI Altix UV is as simple to use as your own PC. With support for Windows Server 2008 R2 and up to 2048 x86 cores in a single system image, the SGI Altix UV is effectively the world’s biggest PC.

For more background, check out my interview with Eng Lim Goh or download the SGI Altix UV whitepaper.

Ed. Note: This was our most popular video last week, and now you can now sign up for a newsletter for the latest on how Windows Server scales on Altix.
