You are a service oriented, self-driven and motivated Compute/HPC Systems Engineer. You enjoy working on a high-intensity, fast-paced team, but can be a strong individual contributor as well. You are passionate about maintaining a high quality and productive environment for your team. You use your strong written and verbal communication skills to help your team achieve its operational goals.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing high performance computing resources, storage systems, web and file collaboration services, tools, licenses, databases, and workflow optimization
- Building, maintaining, and growing HPC systems used for computationally intensive applications
- Utilizing your excellent communication skills to support Hardware Engineers and understand their needs to develop scalable solutions
- Improving design and analysis capabilities, and product development efficiency
- Installing and integrating tools and software into a production environment
- Developing programmatic solutions to systems issues using a DevOps/SRE mindset
- Interacting with vendors and other engineering groups to continuously improve efficiency and quality of Compute Systems
