With 30 years industry experience, Ahmed Hashmi has held technical, commercial and leadership positions in Amoco and BP’s worldwide operations in the US, Europe, Africa, Latin America and the Arabian Gulf.

In his current role, Ahmed has accountability for the creation and delivery of BP’s Upstream technology strategy and digital transformation. He leads the Upstream Technology organization which comprises scientists and engineers, technology centers and laboratory facilities in USA and UK, and a global network of research and technology suppliers.
