The SISSA and ICTP academic centers in Italy are offering an amazing opportunity for Fellowships for the Master in High Performance Computing. SISSA and ICTP host one of the largest HPC facilities in Italy, and this is your chance to boost your career in computational science.
We would like to inform you that July 24th closes the enrollment for the 5th edition of the Master in High Performance Computing which is supported by the Regione Autonoma FVG. This is a post-graduation school organized in Trieste by the synergistic cooperation of two excellence research centers: SISSA and ICTP. Courses are kept in english by world-renowed HPC experts. Our aim is to prepare within 12 months of master HPC specialists, which is a fast growing job in either academy and industry settings.
Since 2014, we trained 44 people in HPC, and 40/44 achieved a financial support from one of our sponsor (i.e., IBM, Quantum Expresso Foundation, GENERALI, Intel, SISSA, ICTP,OGS, CNR, etc.). All of them are now working in their area of expertise, one third of them with a permanent job.
