Registration Opens for Oct. 1 HPC4EI National Manufacturing Day

Sept. 13, 2021 — Registration is free and open to the public for HPC4EI Manufacturing Day, Friday, Oct. 1 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET, and will feature Pamela Isom, director of the Artificial Intelligence and Technology Office of the U.S. Department of Energy, and Doug Kothe, director of DOE’s Exascale Computing Project at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, among other speakers.

The program will include plenary sessions in which DOE will discuss advances in exascale computers and in emerging AI capabilities. The program also will highlight how HPC4EI develops next-generation computational scientists as the organization works with industry to meet their technical and business objectives. Optional virtual tours of select DOE computational facilities will be included on Oct. 1.
