Exxact to Showcase HPC Hardware at the GPU Technology Conference

LOGO-RGB-horiz-CS6Today Exxact Corporation, a leading provider of high performance computing solutions and professional workstation graphics, announced that the company will showcase its latest developments at the GPU Technology Conference April 4-7 in San Jose. Exxact’s exciting portfolio includes HPC solutions such as a water-cooled Deep Learning Devbox, a 10 GPU Peer-to-Peer Solution, and the Mechdyne TGX High Performance Remote Desktop tool.

We have a lot of exciting NVIDIA based products that we are showcasing at GTC this year,” said Jason Chen, Vice President of Exxact Corporation. “Deep Learning is really taking off, and we have a full offering of solutions that include water-cooled options, peer-to-peer, as well as a host of software applications installed, optimized and automatically updated. We are equally excited about TGX, which is GPU accelerated VDI that allows for high resolution, low bandwidth, high frame rate, and high image quality. It is the first remote graphics solution where you don’t have to sacrifice usability or performance.”

The Exxact water-cooled Deep Learning Devbox features the newest NVIDIA GPU technology coupled with custom CPU and GPU water cooling, a state-of-the-art PCIe peer-to-peer interconnect technology, and a fully pre-installed suite of the leading deep learning software. With the introduction of a Deep Learning workstation with liquid cooling, developers can now get a jump-start on deep learning research and utilize a more quiet and effective solution.

Exxact’s new Quantum TXR414-1000R 10 GPU Peer-to-Peer (P2P) system provides full P2P communication between 10 PCIe devices. This means that up to 10 NVIDIA Tesla Active GPUs, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 GPUs, or NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan X GPUs can now be configured on a single PCIe root hub. The P2P technology allows messages to be directly exchanged between each GPU, resulting in maximized performance gains for applications with heavy GPU P2P communication; these performance increases are particularly noticeable in computational research fields, notably Deep Learning.

This year, Exxact will also demonstrate the Mechdyne TGX High Performance Remote Desktop tool at GTC. TGX is the highest performing, most efficient remote desktop application on the market. Utilizing TGX, users can experience the full potential of their Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). TGX delivers a virtually “local” end-user experience regardless of location, dataset size, or display configuration. The revolutionary remote desktop application allows users to access much more powerful graphic intensive applications with a variety of client computers.
