BZdWUpBCEAA4ak3Today ScaleMP announced that the company is teaming with leading vendors at ISC 2015 in Frankfurt to virtualize very large memory systems.

Our relationships with Lenovo and Intel continue to deliver industry-leading, high-end solutions for applications that require high core count and/or high memory for big data and high-performance computing applications,” said Shai Fultheim, CEO and founder of ScaleMP. “By lowering the acquisition cost to customers who require hundreds to thousands of cores and dozens to hundreds of terabytes of RAM in a single instance of Linux, a new class of users can query huge databases and make decisions in real time.”

vSMP Foundation from ScaleMP enables organization to do more with less. By extending the high-speed memory available to a range of applications, more data can be analyzed in real time, leading to more insights and faster decision-making. For those companies and researchers with the need for more computing power within a single instance of Linux, solutions based on vSMP Foundation software give application developers and system administrators a simple and easy-to-use method to scale to thousands of cores and many terabytes of memory.

ScaleMP is partnering with Lenovo to offer very high memory systems, based on the System x3950 X6 and the System x3850 X6 servers. Learn more about these solutions at the Lenovo booth, No. 1020. In addition, ScaleMP will be presenting high-memory solutions at the Intel booth, No. 930 at 6:40 PM on Monday, July 13.

In addition, ScaleMP will lead a discussion entitled, “Experience and Future Development with Very Large Memory Solutions for HPC and Big Data” at the HP-CAST 24 on Saturday, July 11.
