At ISC 2024, we had an illuminating conversation with Kirk Bresniker, chief architect of Hewlett Packard Labs. Bresniker is closely involved in directing HPE’s supercomputing vision, and here he provides a glimpse into the future of HPE HPC systems. HPE’s booth signage at ISC included the bold declaration: “World Leader in Supercomputing,” so we invited Bresniker to back up that statement.
Key to the company’s leadership, he said, are HPE platforms’ integration capabilities, which welcome the components of their technology partners – including quantum computing and its anticipated role working in partnership alongside classical HPC.
