UberCloud Now Available in Microsoft Azure Marketplace

Today the UberCloud announced the availability of UberCloud consulting services in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, an online store providing applications and services for use on Microsoft Azure. UberCloud customers can now take advantage of the scalability, high availability, and security of Azure, with streamlined deployment and management. “UberCloud’s HPC software containers provide engineers with seamless and immediate access to the cloud,” said Wolfgang Gentzsch, President of TheUberCloud Inc.

Microsoft is Making Progress on Quantum Computing as a Service

Just one year after launch, Microsoft is touting their progress towards building Quantum Computing as a Service. “The Microsoft Quantum Development Kit is the fastest path to quantum development. Available for Linux, MacOS, and Windows, you now are just a few steps away from accessing local quantum simulators or in Azure.”

UberCloud Works with ANSYS and Azure to Optimize Bioreactors

Over at The UberCloud, Wolfgang Gentzsch writes that researchers are using HPC in the Cloud in a revolutionary new way for the design of bioreactors. “It’s amazing to think of all the products created in bioreactors. The medications we take, the beer we drink and the yogurt we eat are all made in bioreactors optimized for the manufacturing of these products. Unfortunately, optimizations take a lot of work and data. In a new HPC Cloud project, engineers from ANSYS with support from UberCloud performed an extensive Design of Experiments in Microsoft’s Azure Cloud.”
